Anthill's popular Tunnel Talk series is proud to bring back...
Young Entrepreneurs' Night Out
Are you...
A young Victorian entrepreneur with a desire to meet other like-minded business builders? If so, you are invited to join Anthill at our 'Young Entrepreneur's Night Out'.
The Facts...
When: Thursday 24 June, 2010 (6pm-9pm)
Where: To be announced.
What: Meet and learn from other young business builders. Share a drink. Have a laugh. Gain insights from a panel of business builders. And most importantly of all, help us build a culture of entrepreneurship in Victoria!
The Cost...
This event will cost you one dollar for every year you have lived on this planet.
Yup, attendance is priced to reflect the age of each attendee. This means that 35 year-olds will be required to pay $35 for attendance, while 18 year-olds will pay $18.
This seemed like a fair way to subsidise the cost of booze, finger food and some flights. (Gotta give a little to get a little, right?)
Simply insert your age as the "Enter Discount Code" above (i.e. 29 to pay $29).

What you'll get...
Building a business at any age can be a lonely undertaking. But young entrepreneurs have it tougher than most. Our friends and parents often don't understand the complexities of running a business... or the personal stress that comes with the job.
Meet and learn from other young business builders. Share a drink. Have a laugh. Gain insights from a panel of business builders who have 'been there, done that' and created successful ventures. Benefit from the experiences of other attendees.
And most importantly of all, help us build a culture of entrepreneurship in Victoria!
Our Speakers...
Like all Anthill events, we've assembled a panel of people who are 'doing' rather than 'talking'. They come from a range of backgrounds and rungs of the growth ladder - from home operations to multi-national companies. Yet despite their differences they all have one thing in common. They started young and defied the odds!
More speakers to be announced. Watch this space!
James Masini, International Man of Mystery
James Masini is known to most Anthill readers as the twenty-something entrepreneur who founded Hippo.
In 2007, he turned a university project into an online online business, raising capital from high-profile angels, such as Jeff and Janine Allis of Boost Juice fame.
At the time of his departure from Hippo in early 2009, the job site for 15 to 24 year-olds could proudly claim to have served over 110,000 profiled job candidates and profiled25,000 jobs.
Over the past 12-months, James has built and now manages a digital technology consultancy from offices in Beijing, where he employs local developers to service international projects, taking international geo-arbitraging to a whole new level.
Godwin Hili, Godwin Charli
Whilst undertaking a Business Accounting Degree, Godwin was employed by
global financial services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, as an
undergraduate trainee. He quickly came to realise that the
‘dressing up for work’ component brought him the most pleasure, rather than
crunching the numbers!
Today, he is the creactive director and founder of Godwin Charli, a men's fashion retail brand.
Upon completion of his first collection in 2007, Godwin opened his first store in one of Melbourne’s most renowned fashion precincts, Little Collins Street. The second Godwin Charli store opened in Collins Street in October 2008. His third recently opened in Chapel Street, Prahran.
Godwin has successfully bridged the gap between creative entrepreneur and business builder in two highly competitve industries (fashion and retail).
Kristy Fuller, 1440 Productions

An innovator with Melbourne's Channel 31 and RMITV, Kristy has created
and
produced over 350 hours of live-to-air television, including two of its most popular programs - Raucous and Pluck!
These shows revitalised the broadcaster's popularity amongst younger
viewers, and Pluck! earned Kristy the Channel 31 Program Of The Year
Award in 2004.
In 2003, Kristy co-founded 1440 Productions. From large scale live music broadcasts to commercials and multi-platform content, 1440 Productions
has established a reputation for excellence, reliability and innovation.
1440 Productions is now developing and producing the children's
television
shows Dig Deep Creek and Jays Gym.
James Tuckerman (MC)
James Tuckerman is the editor and founder of Anthill Magazine. At the age of 26, he quit a promising career in PR to launch an indepenent business magazine "with a sense of humour".
Since then, the business has evolved to become one of Australia's leading online communities for entrepreneurs and features among the Top 50 Business & Finance websites in Australia, according to Nielsen Online Ratings.
It is also home to Anthill Events (such as this one), Anthill Awards (such as 30under30) and a range of programs and tools to help business development.
He is a sought after business and media commentator and doesn't mind sharing his often controversial views. Indeed, his mouth rarely closes (see image right).
Plus you!
We anticipate that our attendees will be an interesting mob (Yes, we're talking about you). Don't expect to be neglected from our MC's gentle probing.
